Eden Holland is an Upright Bassist, Composer, and Educator based out of Portland, Oregon.
They have performed with a cornucopia of the Pacific Northwest’s finest Instrumentalists,
Composers, and Improvisers. Eden carries a torch of tradition through a new frontier of
harmonic and rhythmic peril, unexplored vistas of improvisation, and boundary shaping
maneuvers in the name of the music.
Joining Eden will be long time collaborators Barra Brown on drums, Cyrus Nabipoor on
Trumpet, and Dillon Nadler on Guitar/FX. Although this group of individuals has played together
with regularity in separate configurations, this will be this ensemble’s maiden voyage. This new
quartet will be debuting a series of brand new compositions by Eden, all explorations in
short-form songwriting, written specifically for this ensemble.

tunes, then to support the cats and the CMG for creating such a cool scene here in Portland.”
