THMPR is an improv quintet comprised of accomplished musicians including Ralph Huntley (Klezmocracy), Ralph Carney (Tom Waits, B52s, Elvis Costello, Bill Laswell), Jason Driver, Gary Count Kellam, and for this session, Jason Carter (Frank Black). This band doesn’t pay attention to convention, timeframes, or simple song structures.
