Modern Ass Jazz Singers are an artist collective out of se Portland, currently showcasing the extended musical techniques of Seth Boney, Bernie Dively, and David Owen Tevlin. When not collaborating on a doom metal project consisting of metric modulated darkness, or sampling themselves integrating improvisation into spiritual hip hop, MAJS is laying down some of the most intense frenetic improvisational and devotional free modal jazz at blast tempos.
