Han Bennink and Mary Oliver conduct a workshop at Shout House. $5 admission. Seats are limited to 40 people. Han Han Bennink is a Dutch jazz drummer and percussionist, and best known as one of the pivotal figures in early European free jazz and free improvisation. Mary Oliver is an American performer on violin, viola, and Hardanger fiddle, in the areas of New Music, free improvisation, and avant-garde jazz. Bennink and Oliver plays in a duo as well as alongside local performers later in the evening at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Information on this show is available here.
