Mike Gamble AD Series: Dream House Solo Sets with Logan Hone
Presented in partnership with the Creative Music Guild (CMG), the Mike Gamble AD Series at Dream House features saxophonist and composer Logan Hone alongside guitarist Mike Gamble for an evening of solo performances and creative improvisation. This intimate concert highlights two artists committed to exploration, spontaneity, and the spirit of creative music.
Logan Hone is a west coast thru-n-thru multi-instrumentalist, composer, and full-on absolute music lover who recently moved to Portland! He’s passed through over the years with Similar Fashion and John Carroll Kirby, and is thrilled to land here with dreams of making a whole buncha beautiful noise in the PNW!
Mike Gamble is a guitarist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist working at the intersection of improvisation, extended technique, and emerging technology. A graduate of the New England Conservatory, he has been a vital presence in the creative jazz, experimental rock, and improvised music scenes for over two decades. Gamble has performed internationally at festivals including Saalfelden Jazz Festival, New Orleans Jazz Fest, NYC Winter Jazzfest, and SXSW, and has collaborated with artists such as Nels Cline, Shahzad Ismaily, and Todd Sickafoose.
